「みんなちがってみんないい」は、詩人金子みすゞさんの『私と小鳥と鈴と』という詩の一節です。
「お互いのちがいを認め合い、尊重していこう、同じでなくてもいいんだ」ということを表しています。
身の回りではいろんな問題が起きて、ますますこの言葉の意味が重要になってきています。
いろんな出会いによって少しでもお互いの理解が深まるように願っています。

“We’re different & that’s great”: this line is taken from a poem by Misuzu Kaneko “A Bird and A Bell and I”. It addresses that we should acknowledge and respect each other’s differences and that we do not have to be all the same. Due to many problems surrounding us, this message is becoming ever more important today. We wish a variety of encouters will deepen our understanding of each other, even little by little. At the riverside of Asakawa on Sunday, we hope everyone will enjoy fun times.
